Position Summary
The Product Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for assigned Products/vendors/Technology Combining technical expertise with sales acumen, this role is responsible for ensuring that assigned product/solution is effectively represented to customers, overseeing the quality of proposals, and achieving set revenue targets The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge, business insight, and a proven track record in sales and vendor management
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, business, or a related area of study
• Demonstrable experience in Cybersecurity vendor management, technical sales, or a comparable role
• Solid technical foundation with the capability to quickly grasp complex product details
• Proven track record in sales and achieving revenue targets
• Exceptional negotiation and communication prowess
• Mastery in proposal creation and quality assurance
• Robust analytical skills, particularly in costing and profitability
• Proficiency in delivering captivating presentations to a diverse audience
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, notably PowerPoint and Excel
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a knack for building lasting relationships

• Certifications in technical product management or vendor management
• Prior experience in a high paced, dynamic setting
• Established network of vendor contacts within the industry
Key Responsibilities
Vendor and Channel Management
• Establish and nurture robust, long lasting relationships with Cybersecurity vendors, Distributors and Deployment partners
• Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to ensure they align with company objectives
Revenue Generation
• Drive Cybersecurity revenue growth by promoting vendor products/solutions to potential clients, ensuring that set targets are consistently met or exceeded
• Execute Go to Market plan in sync with the Sales Team
Billing Rhythm
• Ensure a consistent billing rhythm with vendors, optimizing cash flow and minimizing any potential financial discrepancies
Technical Expertise
• Should Possess beforehand or Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the assigned Cybersecurity solution/product to adeptly represent it to customers, while presenting advantages and handle challenges

Proposal Quality Control
• Direct the proposal process to confirm that all offers are of top tier quality, technically sound, and in line with company and customer standards
• Work with the Pre Sales team to ensure best quality proposals are submitted
Costing Skills
• Assess and determine the financial viability of products or services, guaranteeing competitive pricing while safeguarding desired profit margins
• Expertise in preparing comprehensive cost sheets, taking into account product costs, associated services, and support. Must have the ability to analyze and derive insights from these sheets to make informed business decisions
Presentation Skills
• Conduct persuasive presentations to customers, emphasizing the unique selling points of our solution/product
Collaborative Effort
• Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams sales, marketing, project management, and finance to align vendor offerings with our strategic goals and customer demands cyber
Industry Awareness
• Remain updated with current industry trends, technological advancements, and vendor solutions to keep the company at the industry’s cutting edge
Conflict Resolution
• Efficiently address and resolve any potential conflicts or issues with vendors, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
