Job Description:
A reputed co. is seeking a meticulous and experienced QC/AC Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality control and assurance in mechanical engineering projects. Responsibilities:
1. **Quality Control/Assurance:** Implement and oversee comprehensive quality control measures throughout all phases of mechanical engineering projects.
2. **Inspections and Audits:** Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
3. **Documentation:** Maintain detailed records of inspections, testing, and quality control activities. Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
4. **Collaboration:** Work closely with project managers, engineers, and production teams to address quality-related concerns, provide guidance, and implement corrective actions.
5. **Testing Protocols:** Develop and implement testing protocols for mechanical components, ensuring they meet or exceed project requirements.
6. **Continuous Improvement:** Identify opportunities for process improvement in quality control procedures and contribute to the development of best practices.
7. **Vendor and Supplier Coordination:** Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to establish quality control standards and monitor the quality of incoming materials.
8. **Training:** Provide training to project teams on quality control procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
1. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. **Experience:** Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance within the field of mechanical engineering.
3. **Certifications:** Relevant certifications in quality management or engineering quality control are a plus.
4. **Technical Skills:** Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, familiarity with testing equipment, and a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
5. **Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
6. **Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
7. **Team Player:** Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
