A Saudi based Co., is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the planning and delivery of extra high voltage substation projects up to 500 kV
Job Description:
– Experience in Develop detailed SOWs for extra high voltage substation projects up to 500 kV
– Oversee the tendering process for projects, including reviewing bids and selecting vendors
– Review, Manage and coordinate the design and implementation of electrical systems and equipment for Substations and Connection projects up to 500kV (such as Circuit Breakers, Transformers, Switchgears 13.8kV up to 500kV including AIS and GIS Switchgears, Relays, cables, etc..)
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, SEC Standards and regulations
– Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met
– Conduct site visits to inspect electrical systems and equipment
– Conduct Meetings with Bidders to explain Company requirement and project Scope of Work.
– Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
– Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and implementation of extra high voltage substation projects
– Experience in creating SOWs and overseeing the tendering process for electrical projects (substations and Connection)
– Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
– Excellent project management and coordination skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
