A Bahrain based company is looking for:

Focus on a specific computer network, database, or systems administration function. Specialty areas include network analysis, system administration, security and information assurance, IT audit, database administration, web administration, and more.
The IT Specialist must be responsive, highly productive professional who can work with numerous related companies and vendors to ensure continued success through corporate projects.
Key Tasks:
• Discretion and confidentiality are of paramount importance.
• Coordinate between the company and external vendors and contractors about IT-related infrastructure and development as required and if needed.
• Consult with the Management on any issues that might come up and advise about potential fixes or efficiency controls.
• Assess IT infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands.
• Manage daily operations of the IT related matters.
• Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve user/customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate the needs of the company, employees, vendors and contractors.
• Protect company/customer data from outside penetration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means.
• Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use.
• Manage and oversee departmental quotas.
• Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT department.
• Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external legislation and organizational policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field required.
Industry certifications and memberships a plus.
• 3-5 years’ experience in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity.
• Staying up to date on the latest advances in IT.
• Must be in Bahrain.
