Al Gihaz, Saudi Arabia is looking for the Project Manager for Over Head line Projects, with the following requirements:

The role of OHTL (Overhead Transmission Line) Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

1.           Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.

2.           Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with

senior management.

3.           Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

4.           Submittals / approvals with clients and consultants.

5.           Follow SEC/NG standard and specifications

6.           High leadership skills, with knowledge and performance in Project Management, proposals,

contract, budgeting, scheduling, estimating and reporting.

7.           Complete track of site activities and identifying critical points and solve for closure.

8.           Attend client / consultants meetings and solve points for closure.

9.           Safety coordination with site management.

10.         Track the clients invoice according to the work completion and submit for payment.

11.         LC tracking and supplier payments.

12.         Compliance with procedures and legal management.

13.         Assist in punch list clearance.

14.         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members i.e. project engineer, site

manager, site electrical engineers etc. in a timely and clear fashion and resolve project

execution       obstructions.

15.         Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

16.         Preparation and finalization of supply request / purchase order for all required equipment /

machineries complying with the contract documents. (As per client requirement).

17.         Coordinate with all the suppliers for appropriate delivery of materials keeping the view not to

delay project.

18.         Keeping a good relationship with the client and to provide a challenging work progress with full

satisfaction of client.

19.         Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where

necessary.

20.         Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required

personnel from within the company.

21.         Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and reporting authority.

22.         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

23.         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

24.         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

25.         Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

26.         Track project milestones and deliverables.

27.         Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and

presentations to the higher management and clients.

Education / Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or Mechanical engineering

15 years’ experience Overhead Transmission Lines
